Concealed in the majesty of Jasper National Park, Marmot Basin offers a stunning alpine experience for skiers and snowboarders of every skill level. The resort boasts 91 diverse runs on 1,675 acres with a mix of gentle cruisers for beginners and challenging terrain for advanced skiers. The resort’s high base elevation ensures adequate snow coverage throughout the season with its long season, which typically operates from mid-November to early May.

The resort boasts seven lifts, including the Canadian Rockies Express, one of the longest high-speed quads in the country, giving rapid access to all areas of the mountain. Freestylers can choose from three terrain parks, and the wide glades and bowls offer exhilarating off-piste skiing.

Marmot Basin offers a family-friendly atmosphere. The Little Rascals Nursery accepts children aged from 19 months to age 6, and the ski school offers programs for every age and skill level. Amenities such as the base area’s Caribou Chalet and mid-mountain Paradise and Eagle Chalets offer eating, rentals, and retail area so that visitors have everything necessary for an enjoyable day on the mountain.
