Situated in Calgary, Alberta, WinSport’s Canada Olympic Park is a world-renowned winter sport facility for athletes of every calibre. As a 1988 Winter Olympics legacy site, the park offers a blend of old and new facilities that are unmatched anywhere else.
The ski run boasts 14 hectares (approximately 35 acres) of skiable terrain, ranging from beginners to intermediates to experts. There is also an incredibly well-groomed terrain park consisting of five zones of small to XL features, rails, and a beginners’ zone. WinSport offers for freestyle skiing and snowboard enthusiasts a 12-foot mini pipe and a 22-foot halfpipe, the largest halfpipe in Western Canada.
Besides snowboarding and skiing, WinSport provides a host of winter activities. The largest Servus Tube Park in Western Canada provides thrills for the young and the old. They provide ice skating in the park rinks, as well as hockey and figure skating programs.
WinSport offers the whole range of services to visitors. The resort has facilities for renting equipment, and offers programs for every level of expertise. There are also dining facilities in the compound, and public transport serves the park.
Apart from winter sports, WinSport operates throughout the year with summer sports such as mountain biking, mini golf, and zip-lining. The park is also rented out for weddings and events because of its picturesque environment and amenities.
