Purden Ski Village is located on Purden Mountain 60 km east of Prince George. With 60 acres, 25 named runs, and a 1,102-foot (336-meter) vertical drop. It offers a family-friendly environment with two chairlifts, a T-bar for beginners. With Family-Friendly setting, there are 20% beginner trails, a T-bar for kids, and a play area with toys for non-skiing toddlers.
How to Get to Purden?
You can drive from Prince George, it take you around 45 minutes. Nearby you just turn left at the marked Purden Ski Village sign. After all, climb 4 km on a plowed, sanded resort road. Free parking near the lodge. If you drive from Vancouver, it’s around 800 km (9–10 hours). So better fly into Prince George Airport with Air Canada or WestJet from Vancouver. You can rent a car.

There are 3 total chairlifts (Yellow Chair, Baker Creek Lift) and one T-bar for beginners. The Snow Quality is good (200 inches annual snowfall) around. In summer, there are Cabin and Camping available.
