It is one of the top-tier ski and snowboard resort considering to its accessibility and diverse terrain. Also, the amazing city views are definitely a bonus.

Over 600 skiable acres with 53 runs (13% beginner, 35% intermediate, 52% advanced/expert) and a vertical drop of 2,010 feet (613 meters), Cypress can let you enjoy more than a day. The Terrain can be classified to three zones (Cypress, Raven Ridge, Mount Strachan). From Beginners to Pro, fulfill all levels with steep blacks and glades.

By experience, Cypress snow condition is quite reliable from December to April. Recall the history, it’s the official freestyle venue for the 2010 Winter Olympics. Honestly, it proved that the mountain own the world-class facilities.

How to Get to the Cypress Mountain?

The exact location is at 6000 Cypress Bowl Road, West Vancouver, BC in Cypress Provincial Park. It’s pretty convenience to get there by Car. From Vancouver downtown, it take around 30-40 minutes (depend on traffic) through Highway 1 west over the Lions Gate Bridge, and then go for Highway 99 north to Exit 8. You will reach the Cypress Bowl Road.

The 13 km climb to reach the mountain need to be careful. You should have winter tires or chain in Winter. Don’t try to drive up with the all-season tire or you could be putting yourself in danger. In addition, as Cypress is such a easy-access snow resort, it can be very crowded. So I suggest you go a bit early or you might end up waiting for the long line.
