Located in Manitoba’s scenic Pembina Valley, Holiday Mountain Resort is a popular winter recreation, relaxation, and family entertainment destination. Since 1959, the oldest ski hill in Manitoba, Holiday Mountain Resort has been welcoming generations of skiers and snowboarders onto its friendly slopes, two hours southwest of Winnipeg.
There are 11 varied runs on two mountain sides, with terrain for all skill levels. Novices can learn the sport on gradual slopes serviced by the Wonder Carpet, and more skilled riders will appreciate the challenge offered on steeper slopes serviced by the Blue and Green chairlifts. There is also a stand-alone terrain park that features a freestyle area where enthusiasts can practice jumps and tricks.
Holiday Mountain is more than a ski hill – she’s an entire alpine experience. Slope-side on-site A-frame cabins make it possible for visitors to live in close proximity to the hill in warm, welcoming accommodations. The main lodge houses dining space, a rental center, and welcoming chalet ambiance that makes spending the day – or the weekend – at the resort convenient.
For new skiers and families, the resort features an accredited ski school that offers private and group lessons for all ages and abilities. Safety is also ensured, with ski patrol located throughout the mountain.
Outside of winter, Holiday Mountain is also a summer vacation spot. Hiking, mountain biking, and chairlift scenic rides offer the visitor a chance to see the green Pembina Valley in a different way.
Whether you are visiting to try your first snow turns, have a weekend of quiet in the woods, or ski year-round, Holiday Mountain Resort has just the right combination of nature, activity, and relaxation for all.
